"Smitty's"

Chef Smitty [La Rone Smith] was born and raised in Richmond, Ca but spent his summers in Atlanta Georgia cooking alongside his Big Mama and Aunt Bernice.  It was during these summer visits that Chef Smitty grew his passion and love for "Southern Cuisine".

Smitty's Best BBQ & Catering was founded with the idea of bringing our family's’ "Southern Recipes" to the forefront of the Bay Area's real food movement. Smitty's specializes in using farm fresh ingredients and old-fashioned techniques to create home cooked meals that are delicious, healthful and oh so satisfying.
